About TEDD
TEDD stands for The Education & Direction Database. We're an Australian education and career-guidance service helping students, young adults and families understand their strengths and make clearer decisions about study, work and career pathways.
High school students, TAFE and university students, recent graduates and young adults, as well as parents and guardians — including new and second-generation Australian families.
Yes. TEDD services are delivered online, so students and families can access them from anywhere in Australia.
Free Personality Profile
A free self-reflection tool that takes about 7 minutes. It gives you a snapshot of your strengths, learning style and possible career themes, plus a suggested next step. It's a useful starting point, not an official MBTI assessment.
No. It's a guided self-reflection. It is not a clinical, diagnostic or psychometric assessment, and it is not the official MBTI assessment.
Around 7 minutes. You'll see your result straight away.
Not at all. The profile is designed for people who are still working things out, as well as those who want to check whether a direction suits them.
No. It highlights strengths and possible themes to explore. It's a starting point for reflection and conversation, not a guarantee of any particular career outcome.
MBTI Assessment
Yes. When you book an MBTI Profile Assessment through TEDD, you complete the official Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment and receive an interpretation from an MBTI Certified Practitioner.
The official MBTI assessment, followed by a one-on-one review with an MBTI Certified Practitioner who explains your results and how they may relate to study and career choices.
See MBTI Profile AssessmentThe free TEDD Personality Profile is a short self-reflection tool and a useful starting point. The official MBTI assessment is a more detailed, structured assessment delivered with interpretation by an MBTI Certified Practitioner.
No. MBTI describes preferences, not abilities or a required career. It can help you reflect on what suits you, but it doesn't determine or guarantee a career outcome.
