Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending transactional or service related communications, such as booking confirmations or information necessary to provide a purchased service.
8. Artificial Intelligence and Technology
TEDD may use artificial intelligence and other technology to assist in delivering or improving certain services. AI assisted processes may include organising questionnaire responses, identifying career themes, drafting or improving educational content, assisting with resume analysis and drafting, generating interview practice material, research assistance, producing personalised resources and administrative support.
TEDD does not intend to use AI as a substitute for professional judgement where human input is an important part of the service. Where practicable and appropriate, we aim to minimise the amount of personally identifying information provided to AI systems. We may use third party technology providers to support AI enabled functionality.
9. Payment Information
TEDD may use third party payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal or other payment platforms. When you make a payment, payment information may be collected and processed directly by the relevant payment provider. TEDD does not ordinarily need to store your complete credit or debit card details.
We may receive transaction information such as your name, email address, amount paid, product or service purchased, transaction status and transaction reference. Payment providers maintain their own privacy and security practices.
10. Booking and Video Consultation Services
TEDD may use third party services to manage appointment bookings, calendar scheduling, video consultations and reminders. These providers may collect information such as your name, email address, appointment time and other information required to facilitate the session. The specific providers used by TEDD may change from time to time.
11. Forms and File Uploads
TEDD may use website forms or third party form providers to collect information required to deliver services. This may include uploading resumes, CVs, cover letters, job advertisements, academic information, application documents and supporting material.
Please do not provide unnecessary sensitive information in documents uploaded to TEDD. For example, unless specifically required, avoid providing government identification numbers, banking passwords or other information unrelated to the TEDD service.
12. Referee Information
If you provide referee details as part of a resume or employment service, you are responsible for ensuring you have an appropriate basis for providing those details to TEDD.
We may collect the referee's name, position, organisation, email address, telephone number and relationship to you. We use this information primarily for preparing the documents or services you have requested. TEDD does not ordinarily contact referees unless this has been specifically agreed.
13. Third Party Service Providers

These providers may process personal information where necessary to perform services for TEDD. Some providers may store or process information outside Australia.
14. Overseas Data Processing
Some technology providers used by TEDD may operate servers or businesses outside Australia. As a result, personal information may in some circumstances be processed or stored overseas. Where practicable, TEDD will consider the privacy and security practices of service providers when selecting technology used to handle personal information.
15. Website Analytics and Cookies
TEDD may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our website and improve the user experience. These technologies may collect information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on the website, referral source, approximate location, website interactions and IP address or similar technical identifiers.
We may use analytics or advertising technologies to measure website performance and marketing effectiveness. Where required, users may be provided with options to manage certain cookie preferences.
16. Advertising and Remarketing
TEDD may use online advertising platforms such as Google Ads to promote our services. These platforms may use cookies and similar technologies to measure advertising effectiveness, understand which campaigns generate website visits or purchases, show relevant TEDD advertising to previous website visitors and build aggregated or audience based marketing insights. When you complete a purchase, a conversion event may be sent to Google Ads to attribute the purchase to the ad campaign that brought you to TEDD. This may include the purchase value, currency and a transaction reference, but not your payment card details.
TEDD does not sell personal information to advertisers.
17. How We Protect Personal Information
TEDD takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure, modification and interference.
Measures may include password protection, access controls, secure technology providers, encryption where available, multi factor authentication where appropriate, limiting access to people who reasonably require the information, and keeping software and systems updated.
No internet based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and TEDD cannot promise absolute security.
18. How Long We Keep Information
TEDD aims to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for providing services, maintaining appropriate business records, responding to future client enquiries, meeting legal, tax or regulatory requirements, resolving disputes and protecting legitimate business interests.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and service. When personal information is no longer reasonably required, TEDD may securely delete, destroy or de-identify it, subject to legal requirements.

Certain information may need to be retained where required for legal, taxation, dispute resolution, fraud prevention or legitimate record keeping purposes.
21. Parents and Guardians
Where TEDD holds information about a minor, a parent or guardian may contact us regarding that information. Whether information can be disclosed to a parent or guardian may depend on the young person's age, the nature of the information, the circumstances in which it was provided, consent and applicable privacy requirements.
TEDD will consider the privacy and interests of the young person when responding to such requests.
22. Links to Other Websites
The TEDD website may contain links to Universities, TAFE institutions, government websites, employers, assessment providers, career resources and other external websites. TEDD is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of third party websites before providing personal information.
23. Data Breaches
If TEDD becomes aware of a data breach involving personal information, we will assess the circumstances and take appropriate steps to contain and respond to the incident. Where required by applicable Australian law, TEDD will notify affected individuals and/or the relevant regulatory authority.
24. Complaints and Privacy Concerns
If you have a concern about how TEDD has handled your personal information, please contact us first at hello@tedd.life so we can investigate the matter. Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate your concern. We will aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to contact the relevant Australian privacy regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable.
25. Changes to This Privacy Policy
TEDD may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, new technology, new third party providers, changes to our business practices, or legal or regulatory developments.
The current version will be published on the TEDD website and will display the date it was last updated. We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
